so i turned my head for a sec when i was feeding Eli and this is what he ended up doing, guess he wanted to feed himself and no wait for mommy he had so much fun feeding himself and needed a bath afterwords

i promise it was only a sec he was having so much fun and this was so cute

what he is sitting in, is kinda like a bumbo chair but its called super seat it has activity center with toys and then you turn it and its a snack area i had to buy this because he liked his jumperoo but he cant use it right now till he is fully recovered from his heart surgery so i had to figure something else out and this worked out great he has the toys like his jumperoo but he is sitted and not getting too active like he would be with his jumperoo

Same thing, he got sick and when his mom took him to the doctor he heard a murmur. I was watching him while she was at work at the time, poor thing couldn't keep any food down all day, so when she came home I told her I think he needs to go to the doctor. Next thing I know, my brother-in-law gets back and he's flipping out because they can't find his pulse and before he could explain he was out the door again. He had to go through physical and speech therapy after his surgeries because he was behind, but he caught up very quickly.

They only caught my sons because he had a murmur and the dr sent him to a specialist and the specialist did an EKG and he saw my sons heart was straining on it and so he did an ultrasound on his heart and saw he had three defect a small hole causing the murmur normal he will grow out of that, the coaraction of the aorta and narrowing valve can't remember what that's called he will need surgery later for the valve when he's older

Poor little guy, I hope everything goes well, it's so scary when they have such big problems at such a young age. My nephew had to have 2 surgeries to correct his because his heart made extra veins to compensate for the lack of blood flow to his heart, I don't know why it took so long for them to catch it, he seemed normal and healthy until he got sick with the flu. I asked a nurse if it was possible if he had a thin spot, like an aneurysm, and that it took some time for it to rupture and she said it was possible.

Go to his website it has his whole story there I'm not asking for a donation just so you can read his story also he doesn't have surgery till 5/9/13 his is on limited activity till the surgery and even after his defect is called coaraction of the aorta I think I spelled it wrong he aorta is sending less blood flow to his lower half of his body because its double pinched in the same area

Awe! He's a cutie. What did he need heart surgery for? My nephew was born with a hole in his heart, but they didn't find it until he was 13 months old.
