Have You tried castor oil to get labor started and did it work for you?? How far along were you if it did ???

I use castor oil as a face cleanser though. =)

Don't do it. You might end up in labor but you'll have bad diarrhea while in labor. Doesn't sound fun to me.

Just wait. Your baby will come when he/she is ready.

Tried it right at 39 weeks. Don't do it. Its disgusting, it makes you puke and feel absolutely miserable. Not worth trying.

How far along are you? I'm 37 weeks and was curious if it truely worked too..

No. Unless theres something medically wrong, there is no need to ever force labor, the body knows when its time and I would never risk my childs health by speeding it up unnecessarily to save myself some discomfort.

used it and it worked. I had diahrea but before labor started. I drankk it at 830 and at 10:30 at my dr appt I was 50 % dialated and 100% efaced. my ds was born at 2:57

It is dangerous for your baby, DO NOT DO IT.

Never tried it. I did try evening primrose oil with my last and starting bleeding heavily and had to be induced, I will never try anything again. The induction went smoothly I just didn't like the bleeding part.
