Those who enter into marriage...

I agree with this, because if you put your marriage first, everything else will fall into place. Happy couple=happy kids= happy household!

Maybe she should put her marriage first, she might be a happier individual. Just a thought.

If you don't like her posts don't open them! She doesn't post anon & most of the time she says "Christian Post" in her title. Although this one has nothing to do with being a Christian.

Don't you have anything better to posts about?

Eh, I disagree... simply from personal experience.. placing your spouse ahead of the kids ends up shitty.

I actually mostly agree with this. We found out the hard way that if mama aint happy, aint nobody happy....it's not just a phrase found on a tweety bird shirt. If I need a break from being mom 24/7 then it's not a problem to my dh, he knows I'm not going to take advantage of him, he knows when I ask for a break it is truly needed. The same goes for when we go out without our son...my in-laws and parents know we don't get out much, so when we visit family, we usually take a night to ourselves and go out dancing and have fun. Our son is much happier when we are able to get breaks when needed.

If I could only save my kid or my dh, I would choose my kid.

I would expect DH to do the same.

It is not about who would you save if the house was on fire type thing.
