I am going to call the doctor in the morning, but I am curious as to what is okay...if anything.  My baby is only 2 months old and weighs 8lbs.

Nothing that young. Both if my kids have awful environmental allergies, trees, grass, pollen, mold, etc. my 3 year old started on Zyrtec 6 months ago.

Hell mine is 18 months and the doctor has said a few times he thinks she has seasonal allergies but hasn't brought up giving her anything.  It is not too bad on her so I don't worry about it.

We had to wait it out until 6months then he got something equivalent to Claritin but in a liquid form

Like an allergic reaction to something or just seasonal type allergies?

My son started taking Benadryl and claritin around 9 months and 17 pounds. Not sure if babies smaller than that can take anything. Some doctors think babies can't have allergies because they haven't been alive long enough but my son was born allergic to everything.

Uggghhh, they keep talking about how it is going to be an allergy season from hell.  My husband and I both have horrible seasonal allergies and the baby is starting to show signs right along with us.  I hope it isn't too hard on him.
