Says the person who implies that other people's children aren't "worth" as much as your special darling princess? M'kay. I bet she's as much of a gem as you are.

Quoting Amybelle:

didn't you know more money  does NOT  equal less love......

Quoting unspecified42:

Didn't you know that more money = more love?!?

Actually, Its stupid to waste that money on something that will die. That doesnt really show you care. Its shows you like to show off. Sad.

Quoting Amybelle:

maybe it's a waste for your DD but mine is worth EVERY penny

Quoting Anonymous:

What a waste

I had silk flowers but I would have loved to have real ones. For what I wanted, I just couldn't afford it, though. Our silk flowers were really beautiful, though, and now I have them as keepsakes.

I say, if you have the money and want to down it, why not. It's your money and you can spend it how you see fit. Would I spend $5000 on flowers? No because it's not in my budget, but if I had the money you bet your ass I would...lol.

DH & I started with nothing and worked our booties off. My Parents paid for nothing for our wedding...28  happy years later & 5 wonderful child. I'm grateful & proud we can do this for our DD :)
