I admit it hasn't been an easy journey trying to bond with my boyfriend's teenage son. ( I have 2 teen girls) My boyfriend & I work together at the same workplace. He got a call from the school about his 15yo son, who threw up in the classroom. The school couldn't get a hold of his mother so they called him at work. Unfortunately he couldn't leave work to pick him up. So I offered to do it. My boyfriend was nervous about it because his son is in a wheelchair so he was worried how I will be able to physically pick him up. Well, I went to the school & got his son. I never did this before so I was definitely worried about how his son would react to me picking him up. It went well=) I was able to lift him out of his wheelchair & place him in the car with no trouble. I took him back to my house & set him up in his room. I'm not close with his son so this was a big deal for me to do all this. His son's mother finally called me to thank me for picking up her son & taking care of him. I would do anything for this kid. I hope he realizes I do care about his well being.

Good job. :) Just keep showing him you will be there for him when he needs you.

Thanks. I was so nervous about how he was gonna react to me being the one to pick him up. Thank God he was ok with it.

I do... I make dinner for him all the time when he is here. I make sure he gets treated the same as my girls. I hope he does appreciate it ...
