On my list of bad baby names is Agatha and Agnus. I don't know why but a cute baby girl should not have this name.

I hate names that are on the "top 10 of XXXX" lists.  When hubby and I picked out our son's name, it wasn't a common name.  Everyone I mentioned it to said they liked it and that it was unusual.  Once he was born, everybody, their brother, and their brother's dog seems to be named Logan.

With our daughter, we chose Adelin.  Everyone loves it.  It is pretty, but not over-the-top unsual, but unique enough that she probably won't have to be referred to as Adelin G. to identify her from the other kids in her class.

Where do you live? Around here literally every other girl is named Adilyn, Adelyn, Addelyn, Addelynn etc. I think it's the most popular girls name around here right now. I have three friends with girls with that name (they don't know each other) lol.

I gave my daughter a unique name (Marleigh) and thought for sure she'd never have another kid in her school with her name. Ever. Well I've been checking out the names of babies born at my hospital and there have been seven Marleigh, Marlee, Marli's born there in the past six months. Ugh.

Does anyone consider how their child is going to feel about being named Mango in the future? Good grief.

Did you see Sesame, I'm like seriously. Everyone should be allowed one free name change.
