Would you put a band-aid on this?

Its a burn and it hurts soo bad whenever it rubs against something. There was a blister but it came off on my sleeve yuck. I know your supposed to air them but I keep accidentally rubbing it and I feel that's making it worse.

I would cover it up before it gets infected. Maybe let it air out at nighttime?

I would put some ointment on it and cover it.   Change the bandage daily (or more often if it needs it).

I used to get crapy burns like that.  I would put some neosporin or something on it, and cover it with a bandage. not just the open wound, but the entire burn.

yes I would; mainly because I'd get tired of it rubbing. Burns are supposed to be covered also. I burned my hand and because I didn't keep it covered it healed and is now miscolored

you can also use vitamin E on it as that promots healing and helps prevent scarring.

My thumb looks like that. I've been covering it with medicine and a bandaid during the day and letting it air out at night.

My BFF is studying for her emt and she said you need a balance of both so that's what I'm doing.
