On here consider their stepchildren THEIR children? As in, you are their mother?

Yep. Have one full time and the other half time and I love and care for them in the same way I do my own.

Not there yet and always thought and said i would never be with someone with kids, im with SO kids a lot and recently moved all together and although I would do for them as much as i do for my own, i dont see myself claiming that mother roll.

no stepchildren yet, but my.so has 3 boys so within the next yr I will. I'll never be their mother persay, they have moms who love them very much. we don't however believe in the use of step or half in my family.

You cant hijack their birth mothers' position just because you WISH THEY WERE BIOLOGICALLY YOURS.
They are not and never will be no matter how much you try to claim them on these public forums.

I don't wish they were mine biologically, then they wouldn't be who they are. I am their mother, regardless of who gave birth to them :)
