So I have been feeling awful the past few days. It started a week ago with back pain mid back and to the side and in my abs in the same places and my pee is really dark and smelly but doesnt hurt and i dont think im going more often then normal but Then I started feeling nausea and having a fever. Also, a really bad headache going on day 3 and dizziness. I finally figure out 6pm on Friday that its probably a kidney infection. So no doctor until Monday morning.... I plan on drinking all 64oz of cranberry juice I have in my fridge and hope it gets me through the weekend.... Anyone have any other suggestions?!?!

Sounds like it. I get uti's and bladder infections like crazy. My symptoms are always cloudy smelly pee. Sometimes it hurts to pee sometimes it doesnt. Lower back pain when its severe. Lovwer abdominal ache. Feeling like your gonna pee yourself all the time with little pee coming out when you do go. If its severe you can get aymptoms like what you have.

Oh I use cranberry pills. Take a bunch of those and lots of water and azo for the pain. Until you can get antibiotics.

You better watch out, I have actually been hospitalized for letting a kidney infection go too long a few times. You need to start drowning yourself in water, cranberry juice isn't a must. If your legs start to hurt and you get nauseous you need to get medical attention quickly.

Same here.  I had one when my daughter was a baby, put me in the hospital for 5 days, and almost caused my kidneys to shut down, if I hadn't of gone to the ER when I finally did (stayed home for almost a week before I went in). They are nothing to mess around with. I hope you feel better soon, but you really do need to seek medical attention, sooner than later.

Is there a take care clinic in a walgreen's near you?  How about an urgent care center?  I'd try that route and get you some Uristat or Azo for the pain.  It will help immensly.  I get UTI's all the time and have an appt. to see a specialist to find out why I get them so often.  Obviously, you need antibiotics but try the Azo or Uristat for the pain.  Good luck
