From experience, is parenting what you thought it would be?

It's not as awful as everyone said it would be.

Fuck no. They need to pass out pamphlets in high school saying

You will never again have a life

You cant take a shit by yourself

Everyone will judge you for not doing it their way

Your boobs will sag

Your mom was right. Kids suck.

I was 23 when I had my son, I consider that young. I wasn't really sure what I thought it was going to be. It has been difficult at times, especially when I missed his first birthday due to deployment. But I'm very happy where I'm at now. I get to go to school full time and stay with him more than I ever have. I'm grateful that my DH (bf at the time) pulled his head outta his ass and stepped up. We've always been able to take care of ourselves and never use government assistance so I'm grateful for that too.

I guess I'm considered a young mom, lol

Anyways, yes, it's not exactly how I thought but pretty much

none, i was 22 when i had my first child.. i consider that young. My dh owns his own business and I am a physicians assistant. I meant it is easy bc people acted like it was sooo hard to take care of a baby but i found it was pretty easy for me.

No it's not , what I thought it would be . But I always tell myself I have to keep strong for my son because he's all I have . But he was worth it all :)
