So, my 2 year old has a new favorite phrase. "What happened?!" All day, every day. Every noise I make, putting a dish in the sink, closing the dryer, sneezing, farting, turning the shower off, wiping his butt, turning the vacuum off. Every thing. Even when he knows what I'm doing, I hear "Mommy, what happened?!" Lol
Does your kiddo have a favorite phrase he/she repeats, or used to?

lol I am sorry to laugh ..but it is cute... but it has to drive you nuts hearing it so often.  You need to record him so he can hear it when he gets older. (:

EVERYTHING is "why....?" It's cute, but it also drives me batty sometimes!

when i am telling the kids a story or reading them a story, my youngest dd (3) will ALWAYS ask 'what happens next?' after every page or every pause

dont worry that soon will become WHY? and no matter what answer you give, its always WHY at the end.

"Mama! I need *insert absolutely necessary to life item here... normally stick cheese*!"

All day long he "NEEDS." I don't give it to him until he says please, though. He knows that if I don't even look up when he asks, it's because he needs to say please. So, that's a step in the right direction. But I swear my head will fall off if I hear the words "I need" one more time.
