See what CafeMoms are saying about saving time this holiday season..
So I built a small amount of stuff (vegetable remains, coffee grounds, etc) to mix into my garden dirt this year. One of those things included last years Halloween pumpkins.
Some of you already know where this is going.
I mixed it all in, got the garden set up, planted my vegetables, and we were good to go.
I go out to check on it today, because when I first planted them they were looking pretty sad. Well they're now looking great. However, I see 20 or 30 tiny green plants popping up. I pull one, thinking its a weed, and attached to the bottom is a pumpkin seed.
The damn things didn't die in the winter, and I knew there were tons of them that went into the dirt. I sense they're going to take over my garden. I just hope that it doesn't kill the other plants.
