Just curious to see how many good, hard working men there are. My husband is lazy as hell and doesn't help me with anything. Our oldest is 5 and he's only bathed him once.. ever. And he has never let me sleep in while he got up with the kids..ever. I'm a married, yet single mother and it irritates me. How many of you have amazing husbands that actually help?

I'm not lazy enough to expect him to do my job for me. He plays with the kids but I don't expect him to use his free time to work.

Of course he does.  They are his kids too and he lives in the use with us.  We all chip in with chores and parenting is a partnership.

Yes. All the time. When he is home, that is. Especially on weekends.

I do the majority of the cleaning, but on his days off he cooks and does the dishes

He also does all the laundry and takes care of my son when I'm working

Of course. Why wouldn't he take care of children he helped create and a house he helped pick out and buy? The more we work together as a team, the faster it gets done and the more time we can spend as individuals/a couple/a family.

He's awesome! Lately I've been so sick with this pregnancy Dh has been doing the laundry and helping with everything around the house. Even when not sick he would fold the laundry for me. He always gives DS 2.5 a bath at night and I get him dressed. I don't ask... he's just awesome like that :)

My husband helps when he can, but he's not home very often.
