Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

What do you tell your daughters?

I tell my daughter that she is beautiful but I also tell her that she is brilliant, which is just as important, if not more important.

I tell her she can conquer the world and no one can take her brilliance away from her. That she should never be afraid to show the world how strong and smart she she is.  I tell her that she should never let a man tell her she is anything less than perfect and one day she will find a man that admires her strength, and intelligence more than her beauty. I also tell her to never settle for someone that doesn't make her smile when she thinks of them.

I tell this to my daughter on a regular basis.

I want her to grow up strong and independent! I want her to find happiness in herself and not feel she needs to seek approval from those around her. To be confident in her own skin.

What do you tell your daughters?

This is my beautiful, smart, strong and talented daughter.

I tell my dd she is pretty, smart, funny and spoiled little brat.

i tell her she needs to go to school and get a good job to support herself, and that she will not be supporting any guy.

I've got her convinced that if you are wearing make up (lipstick, Chapstick) she can't kiss anyone because she will get stuck forever.

i tell her that when she is older and wants to get married:

1. He must have a job

2. He must have a car

3. He must live on his own

4. He has to put a ring on her finger

5. He does anything to hurt her, he has 5 brothers that will take of him.

thats all i can think of at the moment.

In school, they did a self-esteem workship and my DD stood up and said I'm beautiful, smart, talented and strong" LOL because I tell her that all the time : )
