Lets say wife does ALL erands, all childcare, all house cleaning and everything else that needs to be done. Should husband come home and help out?

No. I would never expect that of my husband. Unless it is something I absolutely can't do myself.

It's her job to care for the kids and his job to provide. That's how traditional roles work.

I don't know. I'm a SAHM and when my husband gets off work he helps out even though I usually tell him I can handle it.

Do I expect help with housework ect... No
Do I expect him to actively parent our children whe he is home (help with homework, baths, coach sports, play ect)... ABSOLUTELY

If by "help out" you mean spend time with his kids, playing and reading stories and stuff like that, yes. If you mean come home from work and clean the house and cook dinner after shes been home all day, no, that's her "job"... that's my job. He pays bills, I take care of our home.

He shouldn't have to clean or cook but he should have to be a parent to his children.

Does the SAHM go to husband's work and help him work?

Of course. If they love their wife, children and take pride in their home.

When I worked before having kids I came home and cooked and cleaned with my husband.

We didn't stop being a team once the kids were born.
