-.- Really?

Would you order something, not like it, eat half and then STILL expect to have it taken off your bill?

That's ridiculous.

What do you think?

Ive never eaten anything I didnt like..I send it back and usually they offer to take it off the bill. Id never sit there and eat half of it and expect not to pay though, thats crazy.

No, do people really do that? Like try one bite and have it taken off their bill? I think that is trashy.

If its real bad I send it back.  Otherwise, I eat what I can but pay for it.

If you order something and don't like the taste, your problem.

If you order something and it is made wrong, send it right back.

If you order something and eat half, discover hair in food, send it back. (which has happened to me before)

My mom deals with this on a regular basis. She works at a restaurant in a tourist town and people come in eat then bitch about the food and try to get it for free. People suck.

I am watching Resteraunt Stakeout and this just happened.
It wasn't one of the 'actors' they send in to dine, either.

Unless it's so far from what the dish is normally known to be, absolutely not. That's ridiculous and a risk you take eating out.

If it tasted awful was under or over cooked I would send it back right away and ask for something else (would still pay but only for one dish)

If it was cooked properly, and I just did not like it I would do one of the following

a) Switch with my hubby

b) Order something else and pay for both meals

c) eat it and still pay for it, lesson learned for next time

d) not finish it, but still pay.

idk, if i ordered it not knowing if i liked it or not, i'd just eat it anyway and pay (obviously). If i ordered something and it was wrong or tasted off, i'd send it back after one bite. I dont think there's ever a situation where i would eat more than one bite and expect to NOT pay for the meal. I mean, how long does it take to figure out it wasnt what you ordered/wanted.
