What would you think of someone who told you they would really like a kid free day as their gift?

I would think that sounds like heaven. I stay at home so my kids are with me all day, every day. What I wouldn't give to pee without an animal or child watching me.

No, I do not want a kids free day. Just a day where kids do for mom. :)

Sounds good to me!!!  I love my girls, but a breather doesn't hurt.  Spend the day at the spa getting pampered, or just relaxing somewhere.

I will be with my girls this MD, but I will NOT be: cooking/cleaning.  I'll still have to wipe dirty butts though, lol.

I did it once . I mean it was the whole day but why not? My friend for example takes care of everyone but her self 24 hours aday 7 days aweek 365 days a year. I think she deserves a full 24 hours to her self.

I personally don't care what others do for mothers day.   Do I think it to be weird that they would want to spend that day away from their kids.   a little but I also understand the appeal of having a day where they are being pampered and not changing diapers or whatever.
