Car slammed on their brakes. Ok then I am pissed. I manage to get In the car keep my cool. Drive 3 min home. Then he gets a time out right away. Okay moving. On I make him a sandwich and milk for snack. I come into my room where he eats and watches a show. He threw half the milk in the hallway and then the other in the sink All over the kitchen. I got mad. I bent him over my bed I spanked his clothed bottom 3 times. I told him no tball and he got a quick shower. And he needs In his room til dark. Then stories and bed. I could have done this all without hitting him. I'm done spanking. Feel guilty when I need energy to manage this hand full

Spanking is not the same as beating.  That's what's wrong with parents today, they are feeling so guilty for disciplining their kids, they end up being little shits and running wild. The kids end up in charge of the parents.  Do not leave any marks, do not spank anywhere but the behind.   Corporal punishment is not illegal, abuse is, there is a difference.

Seriously?!? It wasn't like she took a paddle to him or even a wooden spoon like our parents did. She swatted him on the butt 3 times with his clothes on! He's not going to become a serial killer because of this.

It happens. I don't  usually spank because I don't trust my temper, but I have spanked a few times. I'm guessing I'm pretty bad at it though, my kid just laughed at me. Let it go and move on. I used to get it with a wooden spoon and I didn't have a grudge or end up a mess because of it. You'll both be fine. Hugs!

Let me get this straight...he darted into traffic twice and then threw milk all over your house?? That deserved a spanking. You should have and dont beat your self up over it.
