Sacrifices for children; wtf?

My friend said she celebrates Mother's Day because she is celebrating the sacrifices she makes for her 1 child.

Wtf? What sacrifices does a person make for her kids. Especially planned kids?

 ooo, ok.

I'm never really needed or done any of that.

I have insomnia, never started a career, got married at 19 (not pregnant), am a homebody, lol

Does it really matter? Some people believe they sacrifice, some people don't.

I think Mother's Day is to honor mothers and all they do for their kids. It is not about moms celebrating. It is about being a mom. I gave up nothing for my kids.
