Ok not cause I have problems with Gay people, I have a gay brother and cousin and am very much for gay rights...

But my husband and I were just.watching paramorman with the kids and the whole.movie this teen girl is all over this hunky guy . At the end of the movie she asks him to a movie, and he says oh sure my boyfriend loves chick flicks. And then the girl hangs her head.

My husband and I were both shocked and gasped, ds who is 6 was like what is that about?

I'm sorry that just wasn't right to be put in a cartoon for small kids, that's adult humor.

Rated PG for a reason, preview ALL of your children's media prior to letting them see it.

How is it any different than Prince Charming and Cinderella?

My 6yro is quite aware that some boys like girls, some boys like boys and some girls like girls. Why did I teach him this? Because that's just the truth.

We just finished watching it.  My husband and I both died laughing at that part.

This. Don't make it a big deal and it won't be.

I loved that part, good opportunity to talk to your kids about how not everyone is the same

Yes, cause disney having 16 yr olds running off with older men is ssooo much better...

My 6yr old didn't even think twice, she has a gay uncle and has no clue how absolutly horrible it is that he mentioned his bf. I mean honestly, they should have did it right and have the whorish looking teen girl just make out with the hunk throughout the movie.
