I love my kid with all my heart but sometimes I miss the times when it was just me and my dh. Am I the only one who feels like this? Or am I a horrible mother...

No, I don't. I do miss the first year a lot. She was so quiet and cuddly. Now she's 4 and hilarious but talks too much.

Sometimes. What I miss more is being able to leave the house without it taking 20 minutes to get out the door and having to pack a diaper bag and lug a heavy car seat around. I can't wait until my daughter can walk lol.

of course I do, I lived 30 years before I had dd, I miss sleeping in on my days off, going out at a moment's notice, staying out all night without worry.

I love my kids but sometimes miss the simplicity of having just one.

Yes and no. But before our kids, df and I rarely had time together anyways because we both worked opposing schedules. It got very lonely. But after I had ds, our relationship seems to be better than before he was born. I just miss working sometimes.

I just miss sleep sometimes. My husband and I are closer after having my son.

I miss thinking having two was hard. Now I have twice that and need to get one evaluated for ADD (bad enough that I have it) and one for mild aspergers (spelling?) or other type of ADD (there are six). I have a special needs brother, dad with ADD, nannied autistic kids and my parents did special needs foster care so I'm honestly not trying to label them for meds, I want to work with them on dealing with it while they are young so meds may not be needed.

It's been 22 years, lol. I barely remember a time before children.

And no, you are not a horrible mother.
