my boyfriend won't come to bed

He has really bad joint problems and right now his knee is three times its normal size. I feel so bad for him. He hasn't come to bed for two nights, just been sleeping on the couch downstairs. I miss cuddling with him. I wanted him to go to the doctor today to get it drained but he said no. We have an appointment with his gastroenterologist in the morning but they can't do anything for his joints. Should I go down and sleep on the loveseat or stay in bed? I'm 9 months pregnant and can't get comfortable anywhere anyway. Just so sad for him.

If you can't get comfortable down stairs then I say stay in bed. Just try to check in on him.

:-( poor guy. You've got to try and get some sleep because you're not doing anyone any favors by staying up all night worrying about him. Try putting a body pillow against your back or something.

If that swelling happens often can you learn how to take the fluids out yourself with a needle? You should look online.

Unfortunately it does. We've been to specialists and they don't know what's going on. He's only 32 yrs old!

Try to learn to do it. I've heard of it being done before. Lol just don't blame me if it goes wrong

My df is only 24 years old and he gets like that sometimes. we dont have insuarance so we just ice it and bought him a knee brace. im sorry he has to go through that. hopefully he gets it taken care of soon so he wont be suffering from even more lack of sleep when the baby arrives. good luck mama.
