Michigan School District?

I don't know if anyone has seen or posted this yet. This terrifies me because what happens when another district goes bankrupt and can't pay anyone. That's more kids thrust out into the world with no way to really be educated. We can spend money in other countries, but we don't help our own citizens. It literally makes me want to throw up.

The teachers ever offered to work for free for a week. Talk about dedicated teachers.

Yeah, all over the news here. Very sad. It was so awesome to hear of the teachers even wanting to teach for no pay‚̧

Not surprised, if there are no jobs, there is no way to bring in money via property taxes and such. The schools suffer, they really have no choice but to consolidate the schools since they only have 10 percent of the students they had when the economy was good.

I have no idea.

I know in NY becuase complaints of high taxes are a constant cry (yet we only need to buy school supplies)... yet we have a 2% tax cap..... and it's a formula so last year they could only raise school taxes by 0.9% or something...
