People like this disgust me. ::EDIT::

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post

People that look at animals as things.

People who can just disregard an animal when it is no longer wanted or becomes inconvinient.
Those are living creatures with feelings and emotions just like us.

They feel happiness and Love, they feel sad and lonely.

They have little beating hearts just like you and I do.

It just disgusts me when i see posts of people who can just toss an animal out into a field without a second thought among other things.

ugh. end rant.

just wanted to add a few quotes from Ghandi

The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way in which its animals are treated.

I hold that the more helpless a creature, the more entitled it is to protection by man from the cruelty of man.

and also..this post has NOTHING to do with abortion, stop trying to start drama

its still an animal, if she's going to rip them from the only home they have ever known, she should make an effort to find a new home for them.

Eh, to me it depends on the animal.  I have no love at all for vicious dogs.  I do not agree that animals have feelings and emotions "just like us."  Their brains are not developed to that point-humans have complex emotions and animals have simple emotions.  I am not a huge animal lover though.  Shrug.

From what that lady was writing, those cats were practically feral, not really pets.  Do you feel the same way about wild animals living in your house?

I don't think pets should be just thrown away either.

I am not your anon in question. well never would be as i never go anon.

but i am also pro choice.

and yes i cant stand  people  abandoning or abusing living animals.

though i have no issue doing a spay on a pregnant dog, as just like  in any abortion    the are unable to sustain life on there own.  and that makes a big difference to me.

Quoting Anonymous:

i am a different anon.  so your heart aches for animals that are abandoned because they have little beating hearts, but your ok with aborting a fetus that also has a little beating heart?  im not being antagonistic, i just found this strange.  what makes one beating heart more worthy of saving than another?

Quoting Anonymous:

 pro choice

Quoting Anonymous:

Are you pro life to? Just curious.

Quoting Anonymous:

Agreed. I just had a bunny funeral this week because my dd's rabbit died. It was part of the family. We had it cremated and held a little service in our back yard.

Or just have them put down. Nobody is going to adopt two adult cats that just piss on everything.

That is called Anthropomorphism- when people people put emotions and feelings on animals that they do not posess. They do not have "feelings and emotions just like us".

I love animals, but sometimes you bleeding hearts take it too far. Humans come before animals. Sorry!

that is the much better option.  if totaly unable to rehome , the would be MUCH better of humanely   euthanized then   thrown into a  field where they will NOT be able to fend for them selves.

Quoting Anonymous:

Like someone suggested, put them down then. Nobody is going to adopt two adult cats that just piss on everything.

Quoting fairyjester:

so she should find them a home , not dump them,  I am sure if her aunt , or great aunt knew she was going to throw her cats out with the trash , she probably wouldnt have left her that house.

I sure as hell wouldnt.

then you must have never had a dog. the pure joy that appears in that dogs face when you come home from work or have been gone for a day.  my bf's dog would be sad if he went away for the weekend, constantly looking out the window to see if she could see him. and when he came home... that dog would just burst outside straight at him.

they very much so have emotions
