Baby is teething. I've posted here multiple times to get more suggestions. I've tried them all. Even though his pedi said medication doesn't work, I went with your suggestion of baby orajel. He hates it and bit me when I was trying to apply it. Now he keeps making faces, sticking his fingers in his mouth and screaming. Thank God this tooth is just about through.

I used ground cloves on my kiddos teeth when they were teething, it's natural and it worked.. After I used that my DS wouldn't let me use baby orajel anymore. Back before OTC meds were abundant that's what used to be used, and adults would suck on a whole clove for tooth pain relief. I don't know why but it's got a numbing effect, and it really does too. After I used it on DS the first time I stuck my finger in my mouth to see for myself and my whole mouth went numb. It doesn't take the best, but it does work.
