What should I do with my chicken?

I put a whole chicken in the crock pot around seven and set it to medium.  The temperature is only 145 right now and I'm absolutely exhausted.  Any other time the damn thing is done in like four hours and the one night I want to literally pass out the stupid thing is going to take its sweet ass time cooking.  My options are stay up until it cooks or turn it down to low and cook it until 8am.  That'll teach me to try and get a head start on dinner prep.

Put it on low and go to bed! That's what I would do.

Good deal.  Think I should add more water to it?  I don't want him to dry out.

Put it on low and go to bed but make sure there is enough liquid in the crock pot for it to cook all night.

Yea add a little bit of water or chicken broth to it. I normally use chicken broth with mine but if I don't have any I add water.
