I love you DH, but you look stupid

Ok, if you recall, how old where your kids when you stopped carrying them around?
My DH still carries his daughter, and it looks ridiculous. She is 6 but very tall, and I actually get angry when he does this. Petty, I know. But it just looks so silly.

My ds1 was 4... We still carry our youngest, he's 3....

I still carry him from time to time. He is going to be 4 in August. He is 3'4 and I am 5'0 so he is more than half my size LOL I might look ridiculous but I love holding him especially when he is sleepy. I cant help it!

4, and even then, not often. If she was old enough to walk then she didn't need to be carried. Plus she was getting tall and lazy, wanting people to carry her all the time. I was a single parent so I had to stop before she REALLY got too big to carry. :-)

I take it this child isn't yours?  Mine is 9 and still gets picked up once in awhile by his dad when he wants to. He's tall too.  I can only give him biggypacks because he's too big for me to hold and he sits on my lap almost every day.  I say hold them as long as they want it and as long as you're strong enough.

DS is 4 and 41inches and pretty big for me, Im only 5ft. I stopped carrying him about 6 months ago.
