And does the slow trickle, will I know? Should I put on some panties where I can see obvious leakage? I'm only 30 weeks and concerned.

Even with panties you can notice your bladder will leak too. Look for consistent wetness over a bit of time. I'm 32 weeks and I'm losing part of my mucous plug now but no leak yet. Hopefully not for atleast 5 weeks.

So if I am starting labor I will know. And I will have time? I know this seems silly but I'm stressing.

You will just feel constantly wet no matter how much you wipe. You just know.

I asked my doctor the same question. She informed me when I got to the point where I couldn't talk from the pain give her a call. If you do notice constant wetness over a day or so I would call just so they can test the wetness and make sure it isn't your amniotic fluid.
