Lol. Not that that's really an issue :-) but she can write her name and recognize all letters of the alphabet along with knowing their sounds. I was thinking about finding her an online program to teach her to read since she's already got the basics down. I don't know how to teach her to put sounds together etc which seems like a simple task lol but it's proving to be a little difficult! Anyone used a program and had success with it? ABCmouse.com? Thanks mamas!

ABC mouse and Starfall were hits with my kids. They read really well now.

That's awesome. My boys weren't as easy to teach as she has been. She can write her letters pretty well and loves to do schoolwork! It's neat. Of love for her to be ahead of the game when she starts school ya kwim.

Id have to go look it up but google, youll find it.
The book. Teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons. Its probably at your library.
We really liked it. And I thought it worked great with the younger ones.
My kid didnt end up reading early. She fought it so we laid off, but I really saw the benifits come out in k.

Did you prefer one over the other?

Starfall because it's free -.-
Honestly I preferred going to the library and working through books, the websites were just supplements.
