He's not I do 110% of everything here. He sleeps when he's home. I'm 9 weeks pg and he bitched because he had to take out trash and pick up dog poop because I can't stomach it right now.

Haha, that's what we say! He pays I raise, then once they are in school, their teachers are a huge part of their life too

Quoting bmw29:

Dh would agree with that statement. He says he funds the raising and I do the raising. LOL

My working husband isn't raising the kids, and that was never the plan. He's there as a supportive and loving father, but actually raising them, no. There's just no possible way he could actually raise our children, while working the hours that he does, if I weren't here. That's not to say every father is the same, but for my husband it's true.

Actually my wife admits that I raise our kids more than she does because I am more involved in their lives.

1 mom liked this

You don't think it takes money to raise a child?

Quoting MrsRinehart2010:

well it is true, my husbnad will tell you I raise our children (sahm) and he just provides for us and assist as my back up when needed.

I mean I potty trained them, I taught the whats good and bad, I taught them how to dress, I bathe them, I cook their meals, He jsut assists when he is home . He works 12-14 hour days 7 days a week . So I would say yeah I raise our children.

Exactly as dumb as saying working mothers aren't raising their kids, of course.
