That has nothing to do with him working, and everything to do with him being a lazy POS.
Quoting Anonymous:

He's not I do 110% of everything here. He sleeps when he's home. I'm 9 weeks pg and he bitched because he had to take out trash and pick up dog poop because I can't stomach it right now.

Which is to say not dumb at all.

Quoting Fistandantalus:

Exactly as dumb as saying working mothers aren't raising their kids, of course.

Pretty damn dumb considering that if he *wasn't* working, we'd have no money to raise them WITH!

My DH and mother got into it once and she actually said that to him.

"You don't even raise the kids, she does it all and you do nothing".

I homeschool so that's not an issue here but I don't think working mom's aren't raising their kids. This is very evident in the case of my nephew. He's only with my sister for a few hours a night but he is still a selfish little turd just like her.

Quoting mommaFruFru:

Haha, that's what we say! He pays I raise, then once they are in school, their teachers are a huge part of their life too

Quoting bmw29:

Dh would agree with that statement. He says he funds the raising and I do the raising. LOL

Meh. I find it true personally. How can 2-4 hours a day = raising kids.
It doesn't.

The people raising kids are the ones who spend the most time guiding them.
Yes, i believe my sons teacher helps raise him. She teaches manors in class as well as lessons etc.

This battle is ridiculous, imo

"it takes a village to raise a child" is true

He loves caring for and raising our girls...he would feel like a failure if he wasn't involved with every aspect...

Quoting Miss-B:

I bet it would.

Quoting LucyMom08:

That would offend the hell out of my SO...haha...
