These are shoes I bought dd in December for Christmas. She wears these and another pair like them all the time. I asked how she tore them this way and she has no idea. Both shoes are like this and the back is falling apart.

Are they Vans?  Those things are crappily made.

Cheap shoes fall apart faster.

I used to have that happen all the time. Until I started getting wider shoes.

They look like they were most likely coming apart at the seams anyway, she most likely helped it along!!

Crappy made shoes!!!! Especially the vans and the store brand shoes from kmart and walmart lol. Don't buy them again they fall apart like that all the time, I have tried so many brands with those style shoes, and they all just fall apart after a bit....

It don't matter if I buy good shoes or cheap shoes, all my kids wear out the toe area from dragging their feet on one thing or another. Just had to buy my 7 year old DD new shoes and her other ones weren't even 2 months old.

Really? I've had 3 pairs of Vans since 8th Grade and I can still wear them all.. I'm currently 20.
