So I am finally taking steps towards my new look which is vintage inspired.

This is my first new outfit with my new hair as well.  I know it still needs some work but I just wanted opinions on how my start is so far.

Other than the shorter bangs it doesn't scream vintage to me..

I think you look great though!  Maybe I don't know a ton about vintage clothing either..

I'm not digging the bangs. But, the shirt looks awesome:-)

I love polka dot shirts. I have four.
Not a fan of the hair but it isn't ugly

How is a t-shirt and jeans vintage? I dress like that nearly everyday and I don't consider my look to be "vintage".

As for the hair, it looks okay, although I don't care for the bangs, but if you like it, that is what matters.

Maybe if you paired the top with black cigarette pants, it'll look more vintage. And curl the ends of your hair, to go with the bangs.

I like your shirt, but no to the bangs.

You know in most vintage looks the bangs weren't cut that short unless you were a little girl. They usually just pinned them up under or curled them tight. Even in the pic you have under your pics her bangs aren't cut short they are tightly curled.

Like I said in the OP I know it isn't all out there vintage.  I literally just started gearing my wardrobe and look in that general direction.  Still working with my new Betty Bangs too, they are a bit difficult to get under control lol

Ulitimately I want my hair to look something like this

this is my overall look...rockabilly vintage inspired.
