Haha... Mom's secret spaghetti sauce

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post

Several years ago when my ex and I first got married he raved about his moms secret spaghetti sauce recipe.  He went on and on about how great it was and how the fresh sauce I bought from a friend who made it from scratch couldn't compare.

So we are visiting his mom one day and she says she will share the recipe with me...but he can't have it.

I go into her kitchen...she opens a jar of ragu and a jar of prego and mixes them together....waaalaaa  Moms secret spaghetti sauce

Yo mama so fat that her belly button gets home 15 minutes before she does!

Quoting Anonymous:

Sorry I didn't type up to your standards. The fact that her secret spaghetti sauce is two jars mixed together should be proof enough that she indeed said waaaalaaaa

Quoting Anonymous:

Doubt it.

Her statement should be in quotes then. Nice try though

Quoting Anonymous:

Nope...  His mom said waaalaaaa...  there was no v in the word.

Quoting Anonymous:

Gross. And I think you mean voila.

Voila is pronounced "waalaa" in English.  Still spelled voila.

Quoting Anonymous:

spelling it the way she said it....

Quoting IamDB:

Don't even get me started on my MIL's cooking! Lol.

I have always said it with the V sound. Never with the w

I do everything but grow my own tomatoes when making my sauce, when I get done cooking I swear I want to just eat it like soup lol.

Same here.  In an absolute pinch, I've used Pomi as a base if I run out of tomatoes and need to stretch the sauce.  The ingredient list consists of "tomatoes," lol, so I can forgive myself for it.
