Oh God I HATE Asking for this stuff! I didn't do it with ANY of my other 3 pregnancies! Did I ask too much?

Question: I think

What are you nuts? That's too damned much!

Actually that is normal. Not too much take a breath!

Less then I would have asked for! You are golden!

Ok I have 3 kids and have NEVER done a registry because I HATE asking people for things. I asked for 29 items and feel I put way too much, okay YES I am having twins but still...

Here is what I asked for help on! Freaking out is this way too much for twin girls? Realize, my youngest is 6 and this was unexpected so every baby item we had is gone.

I asked for -

A Lamaze toy Mittens the Kitten 1 of them (twins CAN share right) for $12.69

A package of 16 stretchy bow headbands 1 of them (they can share) for $20

A 6 piece baby layette set in pink with strawberries pants, onesie, tee shirt, sleeper hat and bib (1 of them) $29.99

A warm soft light blue dress and leggings set in fleece (1) $9.19

A ballerina set with longsleeved body set with attached tutu and pretty hat pants have ballerina shoes stitches (2) for $19.99 each

Princess socks white look like they are pink shoes on the bottom with large pink bows on front (2) $5.99 each

Flower baby bath in bright pink that goes in sink for washing (1 they can share) $41.19

3 pack hoodie towels in pink with teddy bears (1) $13.99

Safety first grooming kit in pink (1) $22.99

Burt's bees baby gift set (with shampoo, body wash, lotion, and more) (1) $8.31

Hello kitty Garden blanket (1) $15.26

Waterproof crib fitted pads (2) $12.79 each

Baby Pink Swirl Blanket with XOXO on it (1) $15.66

Hello kitty ballerina crib bedding set 3 piece (1) $60

Hello Kitty and Puppy 4 piece crib bedding set (1) $78

Pampers Swaddlers Newborn size 240 diapers in all (1) $29.53

Diaper changer and mat set (1) $18.95

Drool teether in pink (2) $2.99 each

Bright starts pink high chair (1) $49.99

Avent express bottle and food warmer (1) $25.04

Avent essentials gift set (1) $41.37

Avent 4 pack of pacis (2) $5.99 each

Avent twin electric breast pump (1) $174.95

10 pack solid colors bibs (1) $19.99

White Crib mattress (2) $39 each

Bright starts grow toy saucer in pink (1) $49

Pink and brown baby swing (1) $89.99

Snuza Baby Monitor for SIDS (2) $68.83 each

Lamaze Mittens the kitten board book (1) $11.12

Is this too much? Should I take things out? Did I go overboard?

Also I already purchased 2 cribs, 2 car seats, double stroller, some clothing items, a play mat, a "Goodnight moon" board book, a laugh n learn puppy, and more so I am trying to grab things I haven't gotten yet. Or I would have asked for more "essentials". What do you think of the list?

My registry had 141 items on it and almost all of them were bought between my two baby showers.

I think your good : )

I think you have a good selection there. Some smaller, low cost items for those who can't spend a lot and some more expensive ones that people can spoil you with or pitch in together on. Looks good to me!

It's good to give people a nice variety to choose from when they are shopping. Just because you have it on your registry doesnt mean you expect it all! You're fine.

I think thats reasonable. And nothing is overpriced so you did good, I think. Congratulations on your babies!

No, it's a registry. You are supposed to put a lot on it so people have options.  It's nothing more than a list of ideas for your guests.

Aww that's not that bad. You probably want 2 highchairs though. I adore Avent products.

I thought of the registry this way: It is just a guide so you don't get useless gifts and at the stores where I registered, if items go unbought, then you get a 10% discount on them!
