I love my son very very much, but he keeps hurting himself (severely) when he gets upset. He has high functioning autism.

What should I do?

i always drag mine somewhere safe and if he is hurting himself still i restrain him. a few times i had to sit on him until he stopped (redirecting him the entire time)(

Talk to his therapist about it. What works for my son may not work for yours. It may do more harm than good actually.

There's a couple here that use marijuana oil for this exact problem and said it has changed their son's life.
