boyfriend jealousy

My son is a year and half old. He's been throwing fits lately when my boyfriend is over. We don't exclude my son at all. We take him to the park and out to eat with us. We play with him together. But once my boyfriend tried to give me a kiss or a hug, my son starts screaming and tries to pull me away. I give my son hugs, kisses, I praise him for being so well behaved or when he learns something new. Is this just a phase? How can I get him to realize that mom shows affection to others besides him? Has anyone else had this problem?

If my dog doesn't like you chances are I won't either. Same for my kid.

I think it's normal. My kids go through that stage where they don't even like my Dh touching me lol and he is their father.

He plays with my boyfriend fine. It's only when he tries to give me a kiss or a hug.
