My daughter is with an older man

My situation is a lot like the one someone posted earlier about the 16 year old DS and the 20 year old girl he had a one night stand except my DD is 17 and the "love of her life" is 27. My ex and I have been divorced for a 2 years now and I have gotten serious with my new boyfriend and my ex is pissed. My daughter is able to choose who she lives with and if I try to discipline her she has already threatened to live with her dad full time. Her dad is trying to be the "cool dad" and lets her do pretty much anything she wants. She asks to have her boyfriend over and hes says sure! I just feel so lost. I don't want to lose my daughter forever but I dont want her being taken advantage of. Her BF is a jerk and she has already caught him talking to other girls but she is convinced that he loves her and that they will be together forever. I feel sick all the time and like a bad mother. This is my confession

What's the age of consent in your state?

Hopefully she'll leave him soon and learn from her mistakes.  She sounds kind of bratty.. she still needs to abide by your rules.  She can't just threaten you and live with her dad whenever she doesn't like something you say to her.
