Placenta....?

Did you do/will you do a lotus birth? (Lotus birth is the practice of leaving the umbilical cord uncut after childbirth so that the baby is left attached to his/her placenta until the cord naturally separates)

Encapsulate the placenta? (Basically grinding it up and putting it into capsles to take)

or eat the placenta? (Obviously eating it)

Opinion post :) I wanna hear what you did/will do & WHY!

Eating it is disgusting and has no proven health benefits. The things other people do. I try not to judge but I'm sorry that's just foul.

 I didn't.

I wouldn't eat the placenta.

Apparently encapsulating it does...

I encapsulated my 3rd. No PPD like the others. No problems with my milk supply like before and I had way more energy. I'll encapsulate every time from now on.

I've heard from several people that it is acually a very common practice outside of the US.
