What looks better on a resume'?

Is it better to list your references or put,  "references available upon request" ??

I put upon request. I don't want to provide too much info to someone who is not interested plus it give them another reason to contact me if they are.

I think either one is fine. References should go on a separate page though if you do include them.

Well that's good because I ran out of room, which is why I was thinking of just putting "upon request"!
