Single moms on cash assistance

How much do you get every month?

I'm pregnant and at the beginning of my pregnancy I pressed charges against the baby's dad for domestic violence. I'm having a really rough pregnancy and really need the assistance. I already applied, I'm just wondering how much I will be able to get?

Bashers will be ignored. If you don't have an answer to the question then don't bother replying.

Varies from state to state but somewhere around $400. I'm not on cash assistance but know plenty of people that are.

It varies from state to state. Im not a hater. When someone needs help they ask for it. I mean thats what American is SUPPOSED to be about.

I'm not in your situation but I know it every state is different and because of your situation you might also be able to get section 8 if you speak with the hospital case worker or pregnancy crisis center.

Good luck

Less than 4% of the population gets cash assistance in the United States. Amounts vary on whether you'd only get federal funding, or if you'd also be eligible for state or county funding.

WA State gives me $385 for my son and I.

We live with my boyfriend but he isn't on the case because he isn't DS's biological or adopted father.
