So my best friend has a daughter who turned 5 in March...She has been getting hives for at least the last year now and the doctors told her it was just cronic hives and ppl sometimes them for no reason...they have had to allergist and everything...NO clue why she gets the hives...

Well now with in the last maybe 2 months she started to have fevers (she may have had them all along, just low grade and not noticed) but these are constant...almost everyday she spikes a fever.  My friend lets them go until they reach 104 then she gives her Tylenol....They have tested her for strep and bladder infections that I know of but I'm sure there were other things...She has a appointment this week at a local Children's Hospital.

Has anyone on here had a child with these problems?

What was the outcome?

Hives and fever can also be caused by viruses.

Antibiotics aren't for viruses.

Well that would make sense if it was a virus causing the symptoms.
