To go shopping for myself. ):

I have so much what I call Mommy Guilt. I can buy stuff for my kids all day, groceries, my pets, my DF, my parents and etc. Everyone, but myself. Unless it is like a dollar thrift store shirt or something. Going "real," shopping makes me crazy. I get frantic and hate spending the money. The entire time I'm looking at price tags I'm thinking about all the other more practical things I could buy. Well my DF is forcing me out the door today and not letting me come home until I've bought at least two new pairs of jeans and a good bra.

Anyone else go through this or am I just a weird woman? lol

Used to be that way. Once the children were grown I started shopping for me. I shopped often for me when they were young just never "found" anything.

You're not weird but IMO a martyr.

Everyone needs basics and clothing is one of them.

I am the same way. My husband has to drag me shopping most the time.

Nope, I'm the same way. My grandmother gave me a $500 Visa giftcard that was meant to be used for myself only, I think I got myself a new pair of shorts and spent the rest on the kids

I'm the same way, always have been.

I'll finally convince myself to buy something, then I feel like it could have been spent on something better. Or I end up talkng myself out of it at the last minute.

I'm working on it though.
