First off I am recently divorced, and since I was a sahm I have no job skills. I have been applying everywhere, but so far nothing.... anyway i had to get on pa to help while im trying to get on my feet..... i was just informed my sister is taking me to vegas for a week and its going to cost almost $1500 for me.... how do i tell her that as much as id love to go i wouldnt feel right going while my kids are eating food i had to buy with food stamps??

No way. Yes i want to go but i refuse. My family doesnt know that im on assistance.

If she's paying for the trip then it's irrelevant that you receive FS. It's not like you can say "hey, give me the money for food instead." She has a right to spend her money as she pleases and if she wants to spend it on having a companion on her trip then yay for you!
