So: I became pregnant after three months of dating this guy. We knew each other for a year in which he begged me each day to go on a date. Naturally he ended the relationship on the way home from the first ultrasound. Baby is now 20 months and he's taking me to court. I need tips and advice on how to manage this stress as a single mother and in school and work and and and...... He's told several lies already- as to be expected. He lives at home with his mother ( 35 yrs old) and we live 4 hours a part....
What is your experience with this?

I wouldn't expect the judge to have much sympathy for him. I would explain the situation and I would asked for supervised visitation because the baby doesn't know him. If he is going after custody. Unless you are totally worthless and on drugs or have a bad habit that is leaving the baby neglected. That is highly, highly unlikely he would get custody.

He wants visitation and joint legal custody. He doesn't want custody. He used to visit about once a month. This came out I the blue. He never asked for his son but grandma did. So I think she's the financier.
