Your car loan should not be 50% of your housing costs, that's a problem right there. How much money do you have left to pay on medical bills and student loans?

The numbers I'm coming out with are $4095 for winter and $4815 for summer... If the pesticide is once a year then add $33 somewhere.. It's once a month then add it to each of those. This DOES NOT include credit card payment since you say it's finally paid off.

Save a little winter to help with the summer if you need to, but you should be fine!!

Eta: These numbers are the highest of the estimates you gave.

Oh wow . Lol. I WISH I had $5k a month to live on! Here's my projected budget for my family of 4 once I get my career going next year ($3k a month including $700/mo child support):

Rent/mortgage. $600
Utilities $300
Car insurance (liability only since I own my car) $150
Groceries & household needs $600
Gas for car $300
Phone/internet/cable $100
Insurance $300
Kids needs $100
Savings $200/mo
Total $2650

I could not imagine living on double that, I would feel rich :) why so much for electric in summer? My highest was $250 with AC going strong lol.
