I'm sure you've seen others post about choices they have made with their family that you disagree with.

What are they? Why?

Not really a parenting issue, but I despise participation awards. Kids need to learn to win and lose with grace.

Not sitting down for meals - I hate the "grazing" thing some kids do.   It's lazy and frequently leads to obesity.

Homeschooling unless you're a qualified educator.

Lack of sex education.

Parents who shelter their kids or do everything for them.

People who smoke cigarettes or pot or drink in front of their kids, parents who are know-it-alls, parents who don't vaccinate, parents who homeschool and parents that let their kids do whatever they feel like doing with no boundaries as well as the parents that don't teach their kids sex education and the ones that are buddy-buddy with their kids.

I don't have any. Why? Because I truly do not care how others raise their kids.

My family (Parents and in-laws) don't agree with our decision not to do the all-out baby proofing. They don't agree with our decision to skip the rice cereal. And ther don't agree with us not ever using pacifiers.

As for what I disagree with... I disagree with people being made to feel bad about the parenting choices they have made. As long as your child is healthy happy and loved; thats all that matters. (I do however disagree with parents participating in illegal activities)

They may have - but that is world wide.  We live in a world with food (and processed junk) all around us.  Obesity is a huge epidemic in our country (continent?) not just because of the types of foods, but the portion sizes, and the "bored eating" that so many engage in.  In the 50's, people ate meals at scheduled times - and there were very few obese people in the 60's and 70's.
