Do you tip a lawn mowing person?

If it is their business (they are the owner), do you tip the person on top of fee?

Or even if they don't own it.  Is lawn mowing a tipping service?

No, but we do give Christmas bonuses to all of our hired service workers.

Any service worker is tippable.  It doesn't mean you should necessarily, but it's certainly within the realm of acceptable.

What can I do to make it easier?  Anything?

How much do you charge for a typical  suburban house--front/back

Don't use one. They are sort of rude wanting us to use them, but we keep telling them Not happening unless they can learn to bag it. We have bad weeds because they mowed for the previous home owners, and mulched weeds into the yard so much, it's almost all weeds. Ugh. I wouldn't ever tip those guys.
Now if they made my yard nicer, then maybe a bonus.

Our yard is small since we live in the city. One of us or my fil takes care of it.

No, either hubby or I mow our own lawn. I don't see the point of hiring someone to something we can do.

$30.00-$35.00.. and please make sure all toys are picked up out of the yards.. its a pain in the butt to have to keep moving balls, bats, dog toys out of the way.. oh and trash.. candy wrappers juice boxes. . You wouldn't believe how people don't care what is in the yards.. then they wanna bitch cause we didn't see the dog chew toy in the grass and we run over it.
