How many are twins? triplets? Who's parents are a twin? Are your kids twins, triplets? I am just curious. My AD's Mother was a fraternal twin, so she may carry the hyper-ovulation gene. I so look forward to her having me some grandbabies....maybe twins!!

I am preg with twin girls. They are most likely fraternal because they are in seperate sacs with seperate placentas.

But the ONLY multiples in my family and my dh's family came from my family. My great grandma was a twin, they both lived. My great grandfather (her husband) was a triplet and he was the ONLY one who lived. Nothing since my great grandparents.

My great grandmother gave birth to three sets of twins. One set died at birth, another set died around 8-9 months and the final set was my Nana (grandmother on moms side) and her brother, they lived but her brother passed away not to long ago. I got pregnant with twins but lost one with my first pregnancy. I am trying to get pregnant again

All fraternal I think..
Nadine/Fadine g/g Deptheria died infancy
Pat/Patsy b/g Whooping Cough died around 8-9m
Rita/Ricky g/b (grandmother) lived

this was way way back in the early 1900s when the first ones were born though. She had 9 children. Her mother had 14 kids. No clue if any of those were twins but I can ask my NaNa she would know.. she has traced our family back forever..

my father has a twin brother, not identical.  no one else has/had multipes without the aid of fertility treatment.
